About Us
The loss of wildlife is a serious challenge to humanity, now placed alongside climate change and nuclear war. This is an intertwined social and environmental challenge, requiring both an understanding of ‘what’ the solutions are, as well as implementing them on the ground.
To do this, we are a multi-disciplinary team combining insights from conservation science, ecology, psychology, economics, art, and the humanities to drive positive outcomes.
Seegreen Foundation was established with this vision - to connect people, build meaningful partnerships and have a shared vision towards biodiversity conservation.
Our Mission
We strike to be culture-builders for a future where people and wildlife thrive together.
This is through foundational ecological research, grounded conservation action, and partnerships with a range of stakeholders. Our work spans across diverse landscapes and each project strives on community action, creating organisational capacity, and an enabling social environment.
Human and non-humans of Seegreen Foundation
We recognise that animals are sentient beings with agency, who shape our shared existence at social and environmental scales – through co-evolved cultures and ecosystem functions. We therefore put non-humans alongside humans in our framing of conservation.
